Kai Minosh Pyle is a Two-Spirit Michif and Baawiting Nishnaabe writer originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin. Currently residing on the Dakota people’s homelands in Bde Ota Othunwe (Minneapolis, MN), they are a graduate student in American Studies researching Anishinaabe Two-Spirit history. Their work has previously been published in This Magazine, PRISM Magazine, Feminist Studies, and Transgender Studies Quarterly, among others. In addition to their creative and scholarly work, they are dedicated to revitalizing the Michif and Anishinaabemowin languages of their ancestors.
