A private exhibition tour of Coralline Frequencies: A Climate Coda and conversation with Columbia University Artist-in-Residence (2022-2024) Tao Leigh Goffe moderated by Ben Mylius, PhD (Columbia). The sound sculpture explores underwater regenerative possibilities and riffs on Sun Ra, Jacques Cousteau, Charles Darwin, and Aimé Cesaire to remix natural history. It imagines the perspective of corals as witnesses to multiple timelines of transatlantic crisis regarding bondage and freedom.
This event is free and open to the public. Reserve a ticket here.
Dr. Goffe’s Coralline Frequencies installation is on display from June 21-23, 2023, as part of NEW INC‘s Demo Festival Extended Realities Group Show and Performances.
